Grace Ministries

We’ve all been there—hurt, bruised, wounded, and scarred. Our Grace Ministries point people to their Healer and Restorer, Jesus Christ, while providing support and assurance that no one is alone in this struggle. Grace Ministries include for those wanting to deal with hurts, habits, and hang-ups; for women who have been sexually abused; groups; and for those longing to be free from the secret shame of abortion. “Grace” also describes our pastoral care, which, for a church the size of a small city, is done by many, many people. We do a lot of “one anothering” here at Morning Star. The milestones of life – weddings, funerals, celebrations, and sorrows – are experiences we share together. Hospital and nursing home visits, benevolence, prayer, and counseling are all aspects of pastoral care at Morning Star.
