“Family” at Morning Star includes LOTS of children. Adventureland is where kids adventure through the Bible and discover that God’s Word is exciting. Our mission is to equip children and families to love the Lord for a lifetime with their heads, hearts, and hands. Adventureland is made up of four age-appropriate areas. In each Adventure, kids experience a time of Christ-centered, fun Bible learning.
Adventure Ranch
Infants, toddlers and two-year-olds find their home in Adventure Ranch. Even at a young age, biblical truths are taught to these little ones. Volunteers are dedicated to praying for the children entrusted in their care.
Adventure Cove
Adventure Cove is for our three-, four-, and five-year-old adventurers. Children who are three by September 1 are in the 3’s class and stay there the entire school year. Children who are four by September 1 are in the 4’s class. A loving staff introduces stories from the Bible through creative teaching. Fun songs and great activities make Adventure Cove a positive place to be. Adventure Cove also includes our Tender Hearts class for children with special needs.
Adventure Mountain
Kindergarten through third graders adventure through the Bible in this fun, active, Bible-based program. In Adventure Mountain they discover what it means to love Jesus and grow in their knowledge of Him. Kids participate in activity stations, worship, large group lessons and small group time. Our small group leaders make a dedicated investment in each child’s life.
Bridge 45
This department is for our fourth and fifth graders and is offered only on Sunday mornings. In it we provide teaching that addresses the rapid growth kids experience in their “bridge” years. We’re not just teaching the Bible, we’re giving them the tools they need to study it for themselves. Through large group teaching, extensive small group times, and projects where they respond to the teaching through activities, we teach the Bible in a way that helps kids see that they can study the Bible and use it in their day-to-day lives.
